There are at least a dozen other people who listen to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/profile-find.g?t=s&amp;q=Apoptygma+Berzerk\">Apoptygma Berzerk<\/a> (If they&#8217;re spelling it correctly, that is.  A-p-o-p-t-y-g-m-a  B-e-r-z-e-r-k.  Pray you don&#8217;t have to say it out loud!), and even a few more who listen to my favorite group, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/profile-find.g?t=s&amp;q=VNV+Nation\">VNV Nation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Too cool.  I love to see what other people are listening to because that&#8217;s how I find and try new music.  Radio DJs are not spinning Apoptygma Berzerk (there&#8217;s probably an intimidation factor with the name and all), so I have to pursue other avenues.  Amazon&#8217;s listmania has been a big help, and now I have Blogger profiles to supplement my musical vices.<\/p>\n<p>Except&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I have to wonder where people my age are.  The average listener of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/profile-find.g?t=s&amp;q=Wolfsheim\">Wolfsheim<\/a>, according to those brave enough to disclose their age, seems to be 18.  I have to wonder if I&#8217;m the oldest person who&#8217;s lifting her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/profile-find.g?t=s&amp;q=Godspeed+You+Black+Emperor\">skinny fists like antennas to heaven<\/a>&#8230;so not to put too fine a point on it, but what are people in their 30s listening to these days?  <\/p>\n<p>Friends need not respond.
