Scott White at Extracting Knowledge from Data has a revealing post about <a href=\"http:\/\/scottwhite.typepad.com\/my_weblog\/2005\/04\/information_bul.html\">information overload<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>I completely understand what he&#8217;s saying. I lost my Internet access last night and part of me was twitchy and restless because I could feel the posts piling up.  I fell behind and was helpless to do anything about it &#8212; my flow was shattered.  Rather than finding something productive to do, I kept trying to fix the problem and spent what should have been a quiet evening at home obsessing about my Internet connection.  Until 1 am, obsesssing! So. How do we know when our brains are full and it&#8217;s time to go to bed? Or that we&#8217;ve spent too long in front of the monitor, and now it&#8217;s time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine? I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Jones at  YAFLE thinks we should admit that feeds are like crack and we are as addicted to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yafle.com\/archives\/2005\/04\/10-ways-to-beat-the-funk\/\">RSS as we are to Civ III<\/a>.  Fine, fine&#8230;I&#8217;ve <a href=\"http:\/\/aggregated.blogspot.com\/2005\/04\/what-it-could-mean-if-you-cant-keep-up.html\">written previously what it could mean if you can&#8217;t keep up with your feeds<\/a>, but I think Michael&#8217;s right, too.  There&#8217;s too much good information out there and not enough hours in the day to process it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>There.
