My power has gone out a few times over the past weekend because of thunderstorms in the area, and each and every time I have to reset the date and time on the danged microwave before I can use it.  What&#8217;s so necessary about the time? Why does it have to be reset before I can superheat my lunch? Does the microwave really, really need to know the date in order to be used?<\/p>\n<p>It occured to me that the designer(s)\/engineer(s) who built these microwaves were not busy, frustrated mothers of small children who had to put dinner on the table in a hurry, nor do they only have three minutes to grab breakfast before running out the door to work.  The point is &#8212; busy people want to microwave, not set the time.<\/p>\n<p>A little consideration would have gone a long way to making a customer happy.
