She: “I hear you saw Hugh Jackman while you were in New York.”
Me: “Yeah. He did a full costume change onstage. It was divine.”
She B: “There was so much hootin’ and hollerin’ that he broke character. It was so worth it.”
She: “Wait a minute. A costume change? When did he do the costume change?”
Me: “About half way through the show.”
She: “Really? I don’t remember a costume change! Maybe I need to see Oklahoma again.”
Me & She B: “…bawahahahahhhhaa!”
She: “What?”
She B: “We saw the Boy from Oz.”
She: “Yeah…he’s from Australia…”
Me: “It’s the name of the show. Boy from Oz.”
She: “Oh! Well that makes more sense.”
