Okay, I’ve slipped a few times, but they’ve been small, glancing blows off the Internet.

  • Kath sent me a link to her new hat, and I had to check it out. It was an accident, I didn’t think about NOT clicking. Grrrrr.
  • After that, I nearly checked out the political funnies that JZ sends me, but she’s promised to hold them for me until after June 8th. Thanks, JZ!
  • I checked the weather on-line. Does that count? Is that recreational surfing? Let me know.
  • I read about a news search engine, topix that lets you search for news based on zip code!! Strangly enough, I learned that Al Franken’s new book is the best seller my home town of Vandalia, MO. Amazon has their fingers in everything, but the news search is really amazing.
  • Oh, and I read a story on CNN about putting RFID chips in people & guns. If you don’t have the chip, you can’t fire the gun. I admit that one was way out of guidelines, but my parents sell hunting stuff so I had to read it for them. Yeah.

Other than that, I’ve been surf-free though I’ll have to stop checking my Bank balance just to get some Internet action. That sort of feels like cheating.
