I’ve been shocked today by an influx of Peep knowledge. One, La Cabeza, had no idea what a Peep was when it was mentioned during lunch. I can’t imagine growing up in this country and NOT KNOWING about Peeps. That’s on the order of never trying pizza or not learning how to drive. Mind-blowing. LaCa, if you don’t know what Skittles are, don’t tell me.

Two, that another of my co-workers makes Peep Dioramas every year for Easter. Apparently his sister-in-law comes up with a Peep theme (Peeps in History, Peeps Around the World, Peeps on Television) every year. The family makes dioramas and then competes for some appropriately hideous trophy. He had to go home early the other day to work on his ‘Peeps on the Moon’ diorama. I kid not.

Three, that the Peep web site offers arts & crafts ideas. I didn’t see anything about dioramas, but I’m sure they accept ideas from the public.

I can’t let these things go, so I may build a lovely Peep centerpiece or try a ‘Peeps Gone Bad’ diorama. I have to move beyond the microwave stage sometime. Your ideas are welcomed.
