I’ve only been using Netflix for a few weeks, but I’m over the moon with this service. For those that don’t know, Netflix is a speedy and efficient internet-based movie rental shop that’s in touch with internet geeks and what they may want from an on-line rental experience. Check this out:
- A nice two DVD try-out, just to get comfortable with the service
- Three DVDs at a time, for as long as you want to hold on to them
- They’ve averaged a two-day turn around to get me movies (I live in Chicago, YMMV)
- No complicated check-out process. They send you movies from your cue as long as you want movies and your credit card doesn’t expire.
- Their movie-recommendation alogorithm is very accurate once you give it some data AND — AND!!!
- You have the option of getting your movie recommendations, rental history and ship/receive notifications as RSS feeds. Wow.
They’ve spoiled me. Now I want all of my on-line experiences to be like this…Amazon, Peapod…hello, are you listening??? You’re good, but be like Netflix.
Thanks.
