He: “Do you remember that film Logan’s Run? It was a lot like Blade Runner, I thought.”
Me: “How can you even draw comparisons between the two? Logan’s Run was a shallow romp whereas Blade Runner was a dark vision of the future. And the women in Logan’s Run? All one dimensional. They were at least two dimensional in Blade Runner.”
He: “No, no…they were three dimensional in Logan’s Run. Remember the pleasure room sequence? Those were definitely three dimensional women.”
He 2: “I think she means the characterizations of the women were one dimensional.”
Me: “Yeah, it’s a little hard to get it on with flat, one dimensional women.”
He (turning red): “…oh, oh! You meant…oh, oh I see..”
He 2: “But now I’m interested. How far do I fast forward to see the pleasure room sequence?”
